Melissa is Board Certified by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners. She completed her clinical training at the Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan and opened a private practice serving New York City and Westchester. Melissa also teaches prenatal breastfeeding classes at the 92nd Street Y and in Larchmont, New York and is a lecturer in lactation at the Mount Sinai Hospital. Her warm, non-judgmental style has attracted new mothers throughout Manhattan and Westchester County.

This article omits vital information about formula in comparison to breastmilk and fails to point out that babies who are fed frozen breastmilk are still significantly better protected than those being fed formula.
